LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis will begin Southland Conference play this weekend when the Cowgirls travel to Beaumont, Texas Saturday to face Lamar at 11 a.m. The Cowgirls will also travel to San Antonio, Texas on Monday to face Incarnate Word in another 11 a.m. match.
McNeese (10-1) has won its last five matches all on the road with its most recent win, a 4-1 win at Jackson State.
Lamar (6-3) is coming off two home wins against Dillard.
Ana Hollweg and
Elena Morales lead the team with 10 wins apiece and both enter the weekend with a 10-1 record.
Salome Fluri is 7-0 and is currently riding a 25 continuous match winning streak dating back to Feb. 2 of last season.
