LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis team (3-0) will hit the road for four straight matches.  The first three matches will be played in Stephenville, Texas.
 
The Cowgirls will play Oral Roberts at 10 a.m. and Colling College at 2 p.m. this Saturday in neutral site matches.  McNeese will remain in Stephenville for a 10 a.m. match against Tarleton State on Sunday.  The Cowgirls close out its weekend in the Texas when they will then travel to Abilene, Texas for a 10 a.m. match on Monday, Feb. 9.
 
COWGIRL NOTES
• Are 3-0 on the season including a 2-0 home record
• Will play its next 10 matches on the road
• The next three matches (Oral Roberts, Collin College, Tarleton State) will all be played in Stephenville, Texas
• Will conclude its Texas road trip with a match at Abilene Christian on Monday
• Sophomore Salome Fluri extended her continuous singles winning streak to 22 matches dating back to last season with her win against Lubbock Christian.
• Fluri's continuous winning streak is currently the NCAA's longest winning streak.  Her last loss was on Feb. 2, 2025, at Central Arkansas.
• The longest continues winning streak in program history is 24 held by Klaudia Gawlik (2013-2014)
