McNeese football will hold its first scrimmage of the spring Saturday in Cowboy Stadium. The team will begin warm-ups at 10 a.m. with the scrimmage starting at approximately 10:30. The event is open to the public. The Cowboys will have their second spring scrimmage on March 21 with the spring game scheduled for March 28.

Also on Saturday, McNeese track and field will hold the annual Cowboy Relays at the Bill and Lena Henning Track Complex. Admission is free.

The men's hammer throw will get the day started at 9 a.m. with running events beginning at noon.

Teams joining McNeese will be ULL, ULM, LeTourneau, St. Thomas, Southwestern Christian College, Air Force WCAP, Shreveport Speed Track Club, Texas Throwers, and U.S. Express. Also competing will be several McNeese alumni including All-American javelin thrower Donavon Banks and sprinter Charles Jackson.
