LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis captured no less than a share of the 2026 Southland Conference regular season title today with a Northwestern State loss to Incarnate Word.

The regular season title is only the second in program history and the first since the 2018 team were co-champions.
Â
McNeese (18-1, 7-0 SLC) will host UL-Lafayette in a non-conference match on Tuesday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.

The Cowgirls will carry a 13-match winning streak, the second longest in program history into Tuesday's match against the Cajuns who enter the match with a 12-4 overall record.

Four Cowgirls enter the match with at least 10 singles wins on the season.Â
Ana Hollweg (17-2),
Elena Morales (16-1),
Erica Hagi (13-2), and
Salome Fluri (12-3) all have double digit singles wins this season.

Angelique Berrat leads the Cajuns with and 11-1 record on the season. Berrat's only loss of the season came against Florida on Feb. 13.

Following Tuesday's match, the Cowgirls will remain home to close out the regular season with two SLC matches. The Cowgirls will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this Saturday, April 11 and UTRGV next Monday, April 13. Both matches will begin at 11 a.m.  Â
