LAKE CHARLES—McNeese head women's tennis coach Sonia Carlson has announced the 2026 Fall schedule that includes two tournaments that will be held at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.
 
"We're fired up about this fall and the level of competition we're going to face," Carlson said. "This schedule is challenging from top to bottom, and that's exactly what we want. We want to test ourselves against the best, compete fearlessly, and use every match as an opportunity to get better and build momentum."
 
The Cowgirls will open the fall slate by hosting its own Cowgirl Invite (Sept. 11-13) and will also host the Southland Conference Individual Championships (Oct. 22-25).
 
"We're especially excited to bring high-level tennis to Lake Charles by hosting our home tournament in September, as well as the SLC Individual Championship. Having the best players in the conference competing for the opportunity to earn a spot at the ITA Conference Masters in Rome, Georgia, is an incredible opportunity for our program and our fans."
 
McNeese will also take part in the UL-Lafayette Ragin Cajun Hidden Duals (Sept. 25-26), ITA Southern Regionals (Oct. 8-12) hosted by LSU, ITA Conference Masters (Nov. 5-8), and the States Up Slam (Nov. 7-8) hosted by Texas State.
 
Carlson returns seven players (Salome Fluri, Leana Gomez, Erica Hagi, Naomi Hagi, Ana Hollweg, Alexa Martinez, Elena Morales) from its 2026 Southland Conference regular season championship team and has added transfers Louna Cormier (Fresno State) and Jacqueline Schnabel (Sam Houston) for the 2026-27 season.
