2012 XC Season:  placed 33rd at the SLC meet with a time of 23:18.9... ran a 24:10.5 at the NCAA regional meet... ran just one race prior to the conference championships, that being a time of 25:20.9 at the Arkansas Chili Pepper.

2013 Indoor Season:  placed 7th at the SLC indoor championships in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:44.35... placed 14th at the same meet in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:54.60... ran a 5:19.92 in the 1-mile run for a 5th place showing at the Cowboy Invite II.

2013 Outdoor Season:  at the conference championships, clocked in with a 19:21.47 in the 5,000 meters to finish 15th... ran a PR of 18:36.83 a month earlier at the McNeese Spring Time Classic in the 5k... finished 7th at the league championships in the 10k with a time of 39:37.71... ran a PR in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:51.86 at the Bobcat Invitational.

2012 Indoor/Outdoor Season:  competed in the 1-mile, 800 meters and 3,000 meters during the indoor season and the 800, 1500 and 4x800 meter relay for the outdoor season... clocked a PR in the 800 with a time of 2:40.67 at the Cowboy Invite I and a 5:24.36 in the 1-mile at the McNeese Jeff Davis Indoor Invite II with a 5:24.36.

2011 XC Season:  NCAA regional qualifier where she ran a 24:47.8 in the race... ran in six meets for the season... had a best finish of 17th at the Cowboy Stampede with a time of 18:47 in the 3K race... ran a 24:03.4 at the SLC meet for 60th place... finished 5th with Corissa Storms at the McNeese Relay with a time of 21:35.

High School:  a two-time state qualifier in cross country...she ran seventh at the state meet in cross country in 2010...she also placed third at the state track and field meet in the 1600 meter race....she was the team's MVP for the year.....her coach in high school was former Cowboy distance running standout and conference champion Kris Gilmore.

Personal:  Born June 22, 1992... parents are Linda Castillo and Roddy Covington... majoring in nursing.
