Biography
2014 Indoor Season: Ranked 24th in the SLC in the mile, 26th in the 3000-meters and 39th in the 800-meters... top ranked Cowgirl runner in the 3k... ran on the DMR squad as well... had season-best times of 2:30.50 in the 800m (ASU Invitational, 10th place), 5:19.78 in the mile (1st place at the McNeese Indoor III), and 10:41.63 for a 1st place finish at the McNeese Indoor II meet... competed at the SLC championships in the mile, 3k and DMR but did not score.
2013 XC Season: Ran a time of 25:33.6 at the SLC Championships and placed 74th overall... finished 17th at the Choctaw Invitational 5k with a time of 20:30.55 and was 26th at the Cowboy Stampede 5k with a 20:27.36.
Before McNeese: ran two seasons at Central Arizona College and earned first team all-conference and all-region cross country honors while helping her team to the 2011 and 2012 NJCAA National Runner Up finish… team captain of her cross country team… first team all-region and all-conference in track while running distance… finished 8th overall at the NJCAA Indoor Nationals in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:49… ran a PR in the 10k with a time of 39:39 for a third place finish at the Arizona Relays… clocked in with a 19:04 PR in the 5,000 meters for a second place finish at the regional meet… finished first at the Region I championships in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:48… ran a 23:18 for a 10th place finish at the UCSD meet in the 6,000 meters.
High School: cross country and track team captain and member of the 2007 Class 4A-2 state champion team at Rio Rico High School… first team all-region in cross country and first team all-region in track in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meters… earned her team’s cross country and track most improved and coaches award… lettered all four seasons… PR in the 1600 meters with a 5:11… 3200-meter PR of 11:26… 5000 meter PR of 19:22… Principal’s List and Honor Roll all four years.
