Prior to McNeese: Played two seasons at Itawamba Community College where he averaged 10 pts, 7.75 rebs and sank 61 percent of his shots in his two seasons... was a MACJC All-Star.

High School: As a senior, averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game... recorded 10 double-doubles... Class 6A All-State performer at Brandon High School... defensive MVP... ranked in top 10 of Mississippi players in rebounds... pulled down a career-high 24 rebounds against Meridian HS and had a high of 26 points vs. Grenada HS... as a junior, averaged 10 pts, 10 reb and 1.5 blocks per game, earning 1st team all-district honors... had 13 double-doubles as a junior.

Personal: Born on December 27, 1994… majoring in General Studies… aunt & uncle, Lynn and Gary Keys are main guardians… late mother Brenda-Gene Thomas… father Demont Gardner and brother Demontre Brooks.
