Pre-McNeese: Spent two seasons at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas… was team captain as a freshman and sophomore… was named all-Jayhawk conference second team his sophomore year… batted .372 and held a .465 on base and a .688 slugging percentage… recorded 15 homeruns his sophomore year, which helped his team to a 26-19 record… was a all-Jayhawk conference honorable mention his freshman year… held a .301 batting average, .382 on base percentage and a .382 slugging percentage… scored six homeruns as a freshman and helped his team to a 49-12 record.
 
High School: Played at Blue Valley High School and helped his team win the 2014 Kansas state championship… Earned all-state first team and all-EKLSS first team honors and hit four homeruns his senior year… held a .385 batting average and a .495 on base percentage leading the team to a 18-7 record… took third place Kansas state championships during his junior year and held a .333 batting average and .383 on base percentage along with three homeruns… Earned all-EKL first team and was team captain his junior and senior season… helped his team to win runner-up in the Kansas state championships his sophomore year and batted .421 and held a .579 slugging percentage.
