2016-17 Season (Sophomore): Playing in just the spring season, Elliott ranked second on the team with an average round score of 73.63 in six tournaments played... six of his 16 rounds were at par or better and had one round in the 60s, that being a 68 in the third round of the NCAA Auston Regional where he helped the Cowboys post the third-best team round of the day among the competitors... tied for 5th at the SLC Championships with a score of 228 following rounds of 76-71-81 as he helped McNeese capture its second consecutive SLC title... tied for 18th at the LSU Tiger Classic with rounds of 77-77 and tied for 18th at the Austin Regional.
2015-16 Season (Freshman): Playing just the spring season after transferring from Paris Junior College where he played the fall semester... played in eight tournaments in the spring heading up to the NCAA regionals and averaged 75.65 strokes per rounds in 23 rounds played... had two top 20 finishes with his best being tied for 18th in his very first Division I tournament at the Sea Best Invitational where his 6-over 216 led the Cowboys’ team... shot par or better in twice with a low round score of 69 in the first round of the Jim West Intercollegiate... his 3-over 219 at that tournament helped the Cowboys to a second place team finish... he finished tied for 28th at the SLC Championships with a 12-over 228 after scoring rounds of 74-78-76.
Paris JC: Averaged 71.1 strokes per round in four tournaments and nine rounds played... had a first place finish, second eighth and 12th in the four tourneys... shot par or better in five of the nine rounds and under 70 three times... had a low round of 65 in the second round of the Paris Fall Invitational following a 68 in the first round... finished the tournament 7-under with a 133 to finish in first place.Â
