CAREER HONORS:
• 2020-21 1st Team All-Southland Conference
• 2020-21 2nd Team All-Louisiana

2021 Spring (Redshirt Junior):
• Starter in all seven games.
• Led the team with 52 tackles and three interceptions.
• Added a half sack and 1.5 tackles for a loss.
• Broke up two passes and forced a fumble.
• Career-high 10 tackles and an interception at Northwestern State.
• Picked off two passes in season finale at Sam Houston.
• Recorded 9 tackles and forced a fumble in season opener at Tarleton State.
• 8 tackles, a TFL and two break-ups at Southeastern Louisiana.

2019 (Redshirt Sophomore):
• Appeared in all 12 games, making 51 tackles with two tackles for a loss, an interception and six pass break-ups.
• Career-high eight tackles in season opening win over Southern.
• Seven stops and a TFL vs. Alcorn.
• Broke up three passes vs. Sam Houston.
• Had his second TFL against Northwestern State and added a PBU.

2018 (Redshirt Freshman):
• Played in three games and made six tackles, three of those in the season opener at Northern Colorado.

2017 (Freshman):
• Redshirt season.

High School:
• All-State honors at wide receiver and kick returner.
• Caught 48 passes for 775 yards and 11 TDs as a senior at Iowa HS and helped lead his team to the Class 3A state quarterfinals.
• Caught 178 career passes for 2,593 yards and 31 TDs.
• Was named the KPLC Sportsperson of the Week for Oct. 16, 2016.
• District champion in the long jump and as a member of the 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams.

Other:
• Younger brother of former Cowboy Aaron Sam, who passed away in 2016.
