A two sport standout for the Cowboys....in football as a defensive back and in baseball as an infielder (earned first team all-Southalnd Conference honors as a shortstop during 2010 season)

2009: one of the top performers in the secondary...credited with 46 tackles (10th high on team) as well as three tackles for a loss and three sacks...also broke up four passes, made one pass interception (vs SFA ) and had a QB hurry and a forced fumble...eight tackles vs Northwestern State, six tackles vs Appalachian State..five stops vs Tulane and vs Sam Houston...interception came against Stephen F. Austin....team player of week vs Sam Houston State

2008: played as a true freshman...played in nine games and had 13 tackles (three vs Southern Virginia)

High School: four sport standout (football, basketball, baseball, track) at Hamilton Christian...all-state in football, basektball and baseball..district and SW Louisiana MVP...played QB and DB...99 tackles and eight interceptions senior year..also 1,461 yards rushing and 956 passing
