2021 Spring (Redshirt Senior):
• Two-time SLC Offensive Player of the Week (vs. Tarleton, vs. Nicholls).
• College Sports Madness National Player of Week for performance against Nicholls where he completed 20 of 27 passes for 354 yards and 4 TDs in leading the Cowboys to a 43-31 win over the 11th-ranked Colonels.
• In season opener at Tarleton, led McNeese to one of its most remarkable comebacks in school history, scoring 21 fourth-quarter points with 14 in the final 2:46 to send the game into overtime, then scored on a 19-yard run in double OT to win the game.
• Threw for 170 yards and three TDs against and rushed for 108 yards and 2 scores vs. the Texans.
• Became the first McNeese QB since Daniel Sams in 2015 to rush for 100 yards in a game.
• Threw for a career-high 354 yards (20 for 27, 4 TDs) in leading the Cowboys to an upset win over 11th-ranked Nicholls. 
• The 354 passing yards ranks as the 9th-most in school history in a single game.
• Had back-to-back 300 yard passing games for first time in his career (306 at Northwestern State, 354 vs. Nicholls).

2019 (Redshirt Junior):
• Completed 202 of 348 passes for 2,628 yards and 24 touchdowns.
• Added 482 yards rushing and 3 TDs to end the season with 3,110 total offensive yards and 27 total TDs.
• 506 total offensive plays set new school single-season record.
• Passed for 300 or more yards twice - 344 yards on 26 of 41 passing and 4 TDs at Central Arkansas (Oct. 12) and 303 yards on 24 of 31 passes with 2 TDs vs. HBU (Oct. 19).
• Added 59 rushing yards at UCA to end with a single-game school record 403 total offensive yards.
• Three other games with 200 yards or more passing.
• His 344 yards passing at UCA ranks as the 11th most passing yards in a game in school history.
• 24 TD passes is 3rd-most in a season in McNeese history.
• 26 passes completed at UCA is 7th-most in a game.
• 348 pass attempts and 202 completions both rank as 5th-most in a season.
• Set a new school single-season record with 506 total plays.

2018 (Redshirt Sophomore):
• Threw for 406 yards on 50 of 90 passing with two touchdowns and three interceptions.
• Appeared in all 11 games and started three.
• Got his first collegiate start at home against Central Arkansas and rallied the Cowboys to a 23-21 win over the 13th-ranked Bears.
• Completed 13 of 21 passes for 135 yards, rushed for 16 more yards with a touchdown, and caught one pass for 11 yards on a trick play.
• Threw TD passes at HBU and UIW.
• Rushed for 148 yards on 43 carries for the year.
• Ran for his first career TD on a 16 yards scamper against UCA in front of an ESPN crew that was in attendance getting footage and interviews for a Gameday feature. 

2017 (Redshirt Freshman):
• The team’s third-string QB... appeared in one game, that coming against UIW.

2016 (Freshman):
• Redshirt season.

High School:
• In his only season of playing football, led Mandeville to a 10-4 record his senior season and a second round showing in the state playoffs.
• Completed 150 of 233 passes for 2,200 yards and 27 touchdowns.
• Averaged 186.3 yards per game passing and 11.2 yards per completion.
• Completed 64.4 percent of his passes.
• Was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year.
• Threw for 331 yards and completed 70 percent of his passes in a game against University Lab and threw for 200 yards or more four other games.

• Born Feb. 9, 1998.
• Son of Ed and Kelly Orgeron.
• Ed is head football coach at LSU... he was a McNeese graduate assistant coach in the 1980s.
• Twin brother Parker was a WR for the Cowboys from 2016-18 and is now an offensive assistant at LSU.
• Graduated with his bachelors degree in the spring of 2020.
