BEFORE McNEESE: At University of Texas of the Permian Basin...All-Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention...Stone pitched primarily out of the bullpen in 2021 where he finished second on the team in strikeouts.  He fanned 43 batters in 29.0 innings and held opposing hitters to a .202 batting average.  The junior's best outing came in a win over Oklahoma Christian in which he allowed just one run in 4.2 innings and struck out five.  Stone earned another win against Lubbock Christian after striking out four in 3.2 innings of relief.  He finished the season with seven appearances allowing one earned run or fewer... Pitched three innings against West Texas A&M allowing one hit, striking out eight on 2/28... Pitched an inning against the University of the Southwest striking out two on 3/21... Pitched two innings against Arkansas - Fort Smith striking out four on 4/2... Pitched 4.2 innings against Oklahoma Christian striking out five batters while allowing one earned run on 4/10... Pitched 3.1 innings against Lubbock Christian striking out four batters allowing one earned run...2020: Started four of his six appearances as a sophomore… Pitched 24 innings striking out 31 batters… Pitched 8.1 innings against UAFS striking out 11 and allowing two hits… Went seven innings against Eastern New Mexico striking out eight batters giving up two hits...Played at Eastfield College in 2018...Region 5 1st team All-Conference Pitcher...started 11 games... went 5-4... had 112 strikeouts over 80.1 innings.
