2016: Played in 11 games and started in 8 of those during his first season at McNeese…  one of the top returning pitchers… was the Cowboys’ main mid-week contest starter…. recorded a 3-2 record including wins over the ranked teams of ULL, Houston, and LSU… had a 6.69 ERA throughout a total of 36.1 innings pitched… struck out a total of 18 batters during the season and posted his season-high in strikeouts against Houston with 5 on the night… was credited with the win at LSU after striking out 2 batters and giving up no runs during 6.0 innings tossed. 

2015: Named to Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll... redshirted and did not see any action.

Pre-McNeese: Attended Wichita State right out of high school and was a member of the Missouri Valley Conference championship team that went 36-25 in 2013… Transferred to Cowley County CC last season and helped team to a 34-20 mark.
 
High School: Lettered three seasons at Olathe East HS… tossed a no-hitter during senior season.
 
Personal: Born 10/7/93… parents are Stan and Leigh Sanders… majoring in General Studies.
