2017 All-SLC Honorable Mention

2017: Became one of the top forces on the defensive unit when moved from defensive back to linebacker following the injury of Christian Jacobs... appeared in all 11 games making two starts... finished third on the team with 43 total tackles, second with 9.5 tackles for loss, and tied for fourth with two sacks... posted a season-high seven tackles, all solo, against Northwestern State to go along wit a TFL... had three TFL’s in season finale at Lamar.

Prior to McNeese: Member of the 2016 NJCCA National Champion Garden City CC Broncbusters where he posted six tackles in the national title game... earned first team All-Region VI honors... recorded 63 tackles, 50 of those solos, and a half sack along with two forced fumbles... ranked tied for second in the nation with eight pass interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.

High School: Signed with McNeese out of high school in 2014 but was ruled ineligible due to a lack of credits... 3-star rating by 247 Sports… No. 5 ranked safety in Louisiana and 52nd nationally by 247sports.com… first team All-State, All-Metro and All-District… LHSCA All-Star Game participant… as a senior, recorded 97 tackles, two interceptions and scored two defensive touchdowns… blocked four punts his senior season… played for coach Wayne Reese… lettered four years in football, three in track and two in basketball.
