2012: Played in 16 games as a pitcher making 12 starts… hurled 99.2 innings and posted a 7-7 record with a 3.16 ERA… struck out 56 batters and gave up 35 earned runs… earned first career McNeese victory against Central Michigan working 8 innings allowing only two earned runs while striking out five batters.
 
Pre-McNeese: Transfer from Panola Junior College where he was one of the workhorses on the staff...tossed 88.2 innings and posted a 3.25 ERA...made 16 starts and hurled five complete games... posted a 4-6 record and had 61 strikeouts...batters hit only .225 against him.?
 
High School: Earned first team all-state honors as both a pitcher and shortstop...helped team win district, area and regional titles...played in the state semifinals...earned all-east Texas honors... three letters in football as a defensive back and running back...two letters in basketball as guard and named team's defensive MVP?
