High School: Earned four letters in baseball at Archbishop Shaw HS… batted .250 with seven RBI as a junior… turned in a .390 clip along with 25 RBI and one homer during his senior season… selected the Silver Slugger… helped lead his team to district titles in 2012 and 2013… chosen team captain in 2014… played for the Louisiana Knights/Akadema summer team where he turned in a .300 average.
