BEFORE McNEESE: Played at At University of Louisiana-Lafayette...Made 10 appearances during his freshman campaign tallying a 1-0 record...Struck out 10 batters across 11 innings...Had a solid outing against Southern Miss (3/13) where he spun three scoreless innings and striking out three batters...played the shortened 2020 season at Louisiana State University-Eunice...had a 2.70 era in six appearances... had 20 strikeouts in 14 innings...team was undeafeated.

Attended Sulphur High School…As a senior, was a 9-2 as a pitcher with a 1.70 ERA and 88 strikeouts…Also batted .325…Named to the PBR, LBCA Composite, LBCA Class 5A All-State Teams…Was the LBCA Region 4 Pitcher of the Year as a senior…As a junior, he went 9-5 on the mound with a 2.51 ERA and 59 strikeouts while batting .382…Was named All-State and All-District…In both seasons, was named to the All-USA Louisiana Baseball Team presented by USA Today High School Sports…Graduated Summa Cum Laude…Teammate of Connor Cooke.
