2013: Third-team All-Southland Conference selection… selected to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll… appeared in 52 games, starting 50 of them… played primarily at first base but also turned in a game in the outfield… hit .289 with three home runs, 21 RBI and 30 runs scored… finished the season with the team’s best fielding percentage of .988 with only five errors and 16 assists… posted a team-high 17 multiple-hit games and also tallied three multiple-RBI games… had two six-game hitting streaks (2/15-2/24, 5/7-5/17)… posted a season-high six RBI against Lamar (3/24) in the series finale… the outing against the Cardinals was one of his best as he went 3-for-6 with six RBI, two runs scored and a three-run home run… batted 3-for-4 against Harvard (3/19) in game one of a double header….went a combined 4-for-7 with two RBI and four runs scored against the Crimson… drew multiple walks on six occasions… hit a home run in back-to-back games against Lamar (3/24) and Northwestern State (3/28)…SLC TOURNAMENT: started both games at first base… scored a run after having been walked against Lamar.
 
Pre-McNeese: Spent two years at Trinidad CC playing at first base… batted .432 with 23 doubles and 12 homeruns in 2012… finished 2011 with a .407 average and two homeruns… named first team all-conference both years.
 
High School: Lettered in baseball at Vauxhall… batted .467 with four homeruns as a senior while leading his team to a championship.
 
Personal: Born 4/14/92...parents are Doug and Frances Marion... has three siblings, Ashley, Cole and Elliott… majoring in general studies.
