High School: Prepped at Powell High School in Powell, Tenn… lettered four years in baseball and three years in basketball… selected to 2013 all-district team… named to the 2013 All-Knoxville team… chosen as Team MVP and offensive player of the year… selected to all-prep extra team in Knoxville… finished career with a .458 batting average and .626 on-base percentage…  named basketball all-district in 2012 and 2013… three-year lettermen on All-Knoxville team… given the 1,000 point award, top rebounder, top defender awards… selected Team MVP in 2012 and 2013… named Mr. Clutch in 2012… John Mauer Award winner.
