Peyton McLemore enters his third season as a part of Coach Hill’s staff, he is in his second year as the volunteer assistant coach and he also serves as the pitching coach.
He served as the the Director of Player Development and Analytics in his first year coaching within the program.
This is McLemore’s first coaching position after finishing his playing career here at McNeese in 2019.
Under his guidance, the pitching staff posted a 1.36 ERA through the 2021 Southland Conference Tournament.
While he was a player for coach Hill, he was a part of two Southland Conference Championship teams, compiled a 4.32 career ERA and 127 strikeouts in 123 innings pitched.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance - Sports Management in 2018 and earned his master’s in Exercise Physiology and Health Promotions in fall of 2019.
