2016: Southland Conference All-Academic Team… was the team’s top reliever as well as one of the top relievers in the conference with 9 saves throughout his junior season… recorded a 3-4 record and posted a 2.76 ERA throughout a total of 42.1 innings pitched… struck out 39 total batters during the season and earned 13 runs only… struck out a season-high six batters against Abilene Christian while giving up no runs and only one hit… had another outstanding performance against NSU with 5 strikeouts and one earned run given up.

2015: Selected to All-Southland Conference Third Team… Named Southland Conference All-Academic Second Team… Nominee for NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award… Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…  relief numbers helped him gain status as an all-league pitcher as well as a candidate for Stopper of the Year… was 6-1 with a 1.03 ERA in 52.2 innings… his nine saves ranked second in the league while his five saves in conference play was listed second best among SLC relievers… had 54 strikeouts against 10 walks in 27 appearances this season… held opponents to a .192 batting average and combined for two shutouts… opponents had 35 hits, but scored only seven runs (six earned)… one of his most impressive outings of the year came against Nicholls (4/26) in which he tossed 4.2 innings and allowed no runs to score  and struck out five batters in the process… fanned a season high six batters in home contest against UL-Lafayette.

2014: Selected to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… appeared in 24 games, all in relief... posted no wins or saves with a 5.10 ERA as he allowed 21 runs -17 earned - through 30.0 innings of work... struck out 15 and walked nine... worked a season long 4.2 innings against Incarnate Word (4/27) and allowed two runs on three hits and struck out two batters... fanned season-high three batters against nationally ranked Louisiana-Lafayette (4/9)... SLC TOURNAMENT: worked 2.2 innings against Central Arkansas and allowed only one earned run on three hits and recorded one strikeout.

High School: Prepped at Sam Houston HS where he lettered all four years in baseball and football… was selected All-Southwest pitcher and was named second-team all-district as a pitcher… helped lead his team to a district championship as a freshman and sophomore…named to academic all-state team… 

Personal: Born 9/8/94… parents are Gerald and Jennifer Kober… has one sibling, Corey… cousin Kourtney played softball at McNeese… majoring in sports medicine.
