2014: Selected to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll... Appeared in 18 games on the mound… posted a 1-2 record along with three saves with a 3.91 ERA… struck out 23 and walked nine in 23 innings of work… his lone win came against Houston Baptist (4/4) in a relief appearance… worked 1.0 inning and allowed no runs on one hit and two walks… tossed a season high 3.1 innings against Southeastern Louisiana allowing no hits and no runs to score and fanned six batters in the process... SLC TOURNAMENT: Made a relief appearance against the No. 2 seed Nicholls and worked a hitless 1.2 innings... pitched an inning against Central Arkansas 

2013: Selected to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll… redshirted and did not see action for the Cowboys

Pre-McNeese: Attended two junior colleges… at Panola JC he pitched a 4-1 record with a 3.30 ERA and one save… at Angelina JC he finished the season with a 3.40 ERA and a 4-6 record.

High School: Was a three year letterman in baseball and basketball at Vandebilt HS who were co-district champions in 2008… finished with a 1.27 ERA and 88 strikeouts in 79 innings pitched… earned all-district honors three times and all-state once as a pitcher and first baseman… participated in Louisiana All-Stars… two-time all-district selection in basketball.

Personal: Born 1/25/92... parents are John and Jan Lapeze... has two siblings, Jamie and Jennifer... father played football at East Central CC... majoring in general studies with a biology concentration.
