Pre-McNeese: Played at St. Edwards University where he was selected as a second team All-Heartland Conference member in 2011… Runner-up for Freshman of the Year.
 
High School: Prepped at The Woodlands HS where he was a member of a district championship team in 2008 … lettered three years in baseball… batted .347 with 20 RBIs and two homeruns in senior season… finished the 2009 season with a .315 batting average, 25 RBIs and four homeruns… in 2008, batted .492, two homeruns and 22 RBIs… led team in batting average… selected first team all-district three years in a row… earned Newcomer of the Year honor in 2008… first team all-county in 2009 and 2010… Houston Coaches Association All-Star in 2009… named pre-season All-American in 2010… member of National Honor Society and academic all-state.
 
Personal: Born 1/14/92… parents are Erwin and Lisa Homann… has one sibling, Andrew… father ran track at Michigan State… majoring in economics/finance.
