Played at Troy University in 2021...made three appearances...Burgin made four appearances for Snead State during the shortened 2020 season and posted a 1.86 ERA in 9.2 innings....struck out 13 batters and claimed two results, good for a 2-0 record

• Son of Chuck and Kathy Burgin
• Burgin lettered in three sports in high school and had scholarship offers for both baseball and football.
• Helped Trussville High School to a 2016 AHSAA 7A state championship and a 2018 runner-up finish.
• General Studies Major 
• (Summer 2021) Selected to participate in the Northwood's League Major League Dreams Showcase by a panel of major league scouts,  pitched 25.1 IP, gave up 12 hits while striking out 40 batters to go along with a 1.78 ERA
