Before McNeese: Coming out of Plano Senior High School he was a Perfect Game Preseason All-American… redshirted his first year of collegiate baseball at Tarleton State College and then only saw six games of action his redshirt-freshman year before transfering to Lamar CC… at Lamar, he played in a total of 54 games… posted a .393 batting average… recording a total of 77 hits, 49 RBI, 22 doubles, one triple, and 12 HR… posted a slugging percentage of .699, scored a total of 54 runs, stole 12 bases, had 20 multiple hit games, and posted a .969 fielding percentage in his one year of Juco ball… is the son of Scott and Kristi-Ann Davis.
