High School: Was named an All-State second baseman and was a member of the All-state Academic his senior year at Little Cyprus Mauriceville HS… is the son of Bruce and Jeannie Alexander... has two siblings, Connor and Presley... is the great-nephew of former McNeese baseball players Dickie (1966-68) and George “Jeep” Colburn (1968-1970), Jeep also played football for the Cowboys from 1966-69... grandfather Rickey Hargrove played football at Texas A&M.
