High School: Earned five letters in baseball and two letters in football at South Beauregard HS… selected All-District first team as a sophomore… led team to a 24-8 record during junior season and was chosen All-District first team… named All-State, All-District first team and was a member of the LHSCA All-Star team as a senior after leading squad to a 28-6 overall mark… was selected team captain four years… received All-District firs team honors as a junior for football.
