2014: Selected to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll... appeared in 14 games along with two starts... posted a 2-1 record and 6.03 ERA... worked 31.1 innings and gave up 21 earned runs, 12 walks and struck out eight batters... earned first career win in just his first start as a Cowboy... worked 5.0 innings against Louisiana College (2/19) and allowed just one run to score on six hit and one walk while having struck out one batter... tied a season high for innings pitched against Houston (4/29) where he recorded two strikeouts... picked up his second win of the season at New Orleans (5/3) after having tossed 4.0 innings and gave up only two hits and one walk... SLC TOURNAMENT: worked 3.2 innings against Central Arkansas and gave up three runs and two walks.

Pre-McNeese: Spent two years at Temple College… appeared in 16 games, starting in 14 of those games in 2013… Posted an 8-5 record along with a 4.14 ERA… completed a team-high five games along with two shutouts… allowed 45 runs – 38 earned – along with 15 hits in 82.2 innings of work… struck out 43 batters for a .283 opponent batting average against… made 13 starts with 14 appearances in 2012 as he posted a 10-3 record with a 2.19 ERA… completed five games… worked 78.0 innings allowing only 19 earned runs and walked only 10 batters… fanned 52 batters.

High School: Prepped at Georgetown High School… earned two letters as a pitcher… named second team all-district and first team all-conference his freshman year… selected second team all-conference as a sophomore… academic all-conference… 

Personal: Born 12/22/92... parents are Warren and Cathy Sefcik... Has one sibling, Ashley… mother played basketball at Texas A&M… aunt Sharon Allen played basketball at Tyler Jr. College and aunt Phillis Skelton played golf at North Texas… majoring in business.
