2016: Played in four games and tossed a total of 2.0 innings throughout the season… recorded a total of 2 strikeouts… saw his longest playing time at Houston with 1.0 total innings pitched and recording one strikeout.

Before McNeese: Comes to McNeese after two years at Wharton County Junior College… appeared in 19 games as a sophomore where he picked up a save and worked 19.0 innings… struck out 20 batters… tossed 20 innings in 10 appearances as a freshman where he recorded a win and 12 strikeouts for a 2.25 ERA.
 
High School: Lettered one season as a varsity baseball player at Montgomery HS… helped lead team to the district championship and fourth round of the state playoffs… named first team all-district… played for the Rawlings Stars and Houston Hurricanes summer league teams.
 
Personal: Born 6/23/95... parents are Jerry and Laura Mize… majoring in business management.
