Only struckout 14 times in 235 trips to the plate last year, making him the 52nd hardest batter to strike out in 2007... he’ll be back in the starting lineup in the outfield this season...saw starting time last year in both center and left...third on the team in batting with a .288 average...was the only one of the starters who did not make an error last year....team high five  hits against Texas Southern....had 17 multi-hit games....five for six against Texas Southern with three runs scored and two RBIs

PRE-McNEESE: came to McNeese after two seasons at Paris Junior College...prepped at Millard North High in Omaha and led team to a 35-0 record and the state title...all-state honors ...also lettered as a running back and safety in football....
