2013: Selected to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll… made 13 relief appearances on the season along with a start… Also started in eight games as a hitter from third base… posted a team-high five saves that also ranked as seventh best in the Southland Conference… struck out 10 batters and walked 20 in 28.1 innings of work… allowed only 10 earned runs and held opponents to a .200 batting average against with a 3.18 ERA…combined for one shutout… tallied a season-high two strikeouts three times against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/22), New Orleans (3/9) and Nicholls (4/20)… worked a season-long 5.1 innings in relief against Lamar (3/23), holding the Cardinals scoreless with three hits, a strikeout and two walks… hit .290 with a home run as part of his best offensive performance against LSU (4/30)… went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, an RBI and two runs... drove in two RBI with a hit against Central Arkansas (4/27)… had a six-game hit streak from April 23 to May 4.
 
Pre-McNeese: Attended LSU and Meridian CC… Compiled a 2-1 record at Meridian CC last season… pitched 22.1 innings allowing only 10 earned runs and striking out 25 batters. Made 13 relief appearances for LSU, posting a 1-0 mark and a 6.35 ERA in 11.1 innings with seven walks and six strikeouts.
 
High School: Four-year letter winner as a pitcher/catcher at Rosepine HS… named all-state three years in a row… placed on the 2009 Under Armour All-American team…
 
Personal: Born 8-9-91… parents are Dale and Rose Peterson… has five siblings… brother Stuart played baseball at LSU… majoring in Ag-Business.
