He’s a returning field general who has been one of the Southland Conference’s top players for the past three seasons...he’s earned all-conference (freshman year) and all-American (freshman year) honors....he now ranks among the school’s all-time leaders in doubles, triples, runs scored and base hits....last year he batted .299, hit five home runs and 11 doubles  and  drove in 35 runs....he had 18 multi-hit games....had four hits against Southeastern Louisiana, TAM Corpus Christi and four against Central Arkansas....drove in five runs against Houston Baptist with three hits including a home run and a double... batted .309 in conference games only...twice was on an eight game hitting streak

2007: batted .278 with 24 RBIs, three home runs, four doubles and four triples...stole 11 bases

2006: led the team and the conference in stolen bases with 24...had a .291 batting average with 13 doubles, four triples and two home runs...started all but one game...first in the conference in sacrifice bunts...named second team all-conference and was named to a freshman all-America team

PRE-McNEESE: baseball (pitcher, shortstop) and football (wide receiver, safety) standout at Little Cypress-Mauriceville High...all-state in baseball...player of year twice in district...team MVP..batted .486 with 13 home runs and 56 RBIs his senior season..

PERSONAL: birthdate 2/14/86...parents are Terry Landry and Janet Abrego...six brothers and sisters....graduated last December and now working on second degree
