2015: Appeared in 13 contests throughout the season in relief work… picked up his first collegiate victory in one of the biggest wins in recent program history at UL-Lafayette (2/24)… he tossed 1.1 innings and allowed no runs to score off of just two hits and struck out a batter… recorded season high four strikeouts against Southern (3/31) and repeated again in longest outing at Houston (5/5) in which he gave up no runs in 3.2 innings of work.

Pre-McNeese: Spent last two seasons at Cowley County CC… helped lead his team to a 34-20 record as sophomore where he tossed 24 innings and earned a 2.30 ERA along with six walks and 22 strikeouts… team finished with a 44-11 mark during freshman season where he worked 20 innings and finished with a 1.90 ERA, 15 strikeouts and eight walks… helped his team to a Jayhawk East Conference championship in 2013… participated in summer league for four years.
 
High School: A three-year letter winner at Olathe Northwest HS… finished his sophomore season with a .505 batting average while his team finished 16-4 overall… led squad to a 12-8 mark as a junior while he recorded a no hitter against Olathe North… earned All-District first team honors and finished with a .05 ERA and a 17-3 team record… chosen team captain twice… member of Presidential Honor Roll and graduated in the Top 10 percent of his class.
 
Personal: Born 5/17/94… parents are Larry and Robbin Day… majoring Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics.
