Last year proved to be one of McNeese’s best runners….ran eight times last year and posted five top five finishes….placed third with teammate Jarrett LeBlanc in the McNeese 2/3000 relay where he ran a 8:53 split…finished second at the La Tech Mook Classic…placed third at the TAM-Corpus Christi Classic…also place second at the Cowboy Stampede…Finished third at the SLC meet…David ran eighth at the South Central Regional which qualified him for the NCAA Championship meet where he placed 58^th…in the outdoor track season David posted the best time in the one mile running it in  4:11…The indoor season brought more of the same as David ran the best times of the year in the one mile, 3000m, and 5000m.

Named team's MVP two seasons ago…also state newcomer of the year... 10th at conference meet and 23rd at NCAA regionals... ran school record in 5,000 meters... coached by form ran school record in 5000... all-Ireland in schools 5k champion in 2007... represented Ireland in European cross country championships... has run 4:01 in the 1500 meters and 1:58 in 800... had two top five finishes last year….earned all conference and all regional cross country honors two years ago.
