High School: Played his senior season at Wyatt High School in Fort Worth before moving to Tyler HS… helped his team to a 7-4 overall record and 4-3 in district play and an appearance in the Texas UIL 5A-2 playoffs… received offers from D1 programs such as TCU, Arkansas State, Colorado State, Northern Arizona, Alcorn State and Texas Southern… also a standout basketball player and is a 2023 McDonald's All-American Games Southwest Region Nominee.
