Biography

2014:  Starter in all 11 games... allowed just one sack and nine pressures the entire season... offense ranked third in the conference in rushing with 221.9 yards per game.

2013:  A first-year starter, played a big part in the Cowboys’ record-breaking success on the season... a starter in all 13 games, played virtually every snap and has been a part of an O-line that allowed just 14 sacks in the regular season.

2012:  appeared in eight games... was part of an offensive unit that ranked second in the Southland Conference and 18th nationally with 209.5 yards rushing per game.

2011:  redshirted.

High School:  prepped at Nederland (TX) High School where he earned all-district honors and was named to an all-super team...three letters in football and four in track and field in the shot put and the discus.

Other:  born 10/30/92... son of Rusty and Caroline Jones... majoring in civil engineering.
