2014 Preseason All-SLC First Team Linebacker
2013 All-SLC Second Team

2013: third on the team with 75 tackles on the season... team leader with 12 tackles for a loss and second with four sacks... recorded a career-high 11 tackles against West Alabama... had two sacks at Nicholls and two tackles for a loss and a sack against Sam Houston State.

2012:  saw action in all 11 games with one start as a true freshman... recorded 46 tackles with an interception and two tackles for a loss... recovered a fumble at Middle Tennessee in the third quarter that set up a Cowboys touchdown... season-best seven stops and an interception at Nicholls... had six tackles against Southeastern Louisiana, Northwestern State and Sam Houston State.

High School:  All-state honorable mention, first team all-Greater Houston, finalist for Houston TD club defensive player of year award, first team unanimous all-district...named school’s John Culpepper athlete of the year...the past season credited with 146 tackles, nine sacks, two pass interceptions...in two year career had 277 tackles, 10 sacks, three interceptions, one fumble recovered...academic all-district and honorable mention academic all-state....also baseball letter...all-district honorable mention as designated hitter...played for Coach Gary Joseph.

Other:  parents are Sheir and David Brown...  majoring in mechanical engineering... named to the 2013 SLC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
