2014:  Saw limited action as a redshirt freshman... did not record any stats.

2013:  redshirt season.

High School:  Two-time all-district honors… team captain as a senior… helped lead his team to the 2012 state title game… led the team as a senior with 105 tackles to go along with a sack and five tackles for a loss… had a school record 95-yard fumble return for a touchdown against Lafayette HS… 80 tackles with four interceptions and six tackles for a loss as a junior and a team-best 102 stops with four interceptions his sophomore season… member of 2012 state champion golf team and state runner-up in 2010… all-district in track… also lettered in wrestling.

Other:  born April 5, 1994… son of Mike and Joni Smith... father played football at McNeese, class of 1987, and was a world steer wrestling champion in rodeo and a four-time runner-up... majoring in business... named to the SLC Commissioner’s Fall academic Honor Roll.
