2013 Preseason All-SLC Second Team Defensive Line
2012: named Sports Network national and Southland Conference defensive player of the week after the season finale against Lamar where he set a single-game school record with three fumble recoveries... played in 10 games and made eight starts... recorded 23 tackles and had 2.5 sacks... had four tackles for a loss, three fumble recoveries, two passes broken up and eight quarterback hurries... season-high five stops twice on the season - vs. Northwestern State (9/29) and against Lamar (11/17)... had a sack and a tackle for a loss against Lamar... recorded another sack against Central Arkansas (10/13) and had a half sack vs. McMurry (9/8).
2011: ninth on the team with 34 tackles... second with seven quarterback hurries... had 3.5 tackles for a loss and recovered a fumble... starter in nine games and saw action in 10... career-high nine hits to go along with three TFLs against Nicholls... had seven tackles with a QB hurry at Stephen F. Austin and six tackles at Northwestern State.
2010: in a backup role got into all 11 games and was credited with 10 tackles...had two quarterback hurries and forced a fumble...three tackles against Cal Poly and two in the game with LSU.
High School: all-district (senior and junior years) and league defensive MVP....total of 115 tackles during senior season...67 solos and nine sacks..also had 11 batted passes, 42 pressures and five forced fumbles....three year letterman in both football and basketball...played center on the court.
