During the 2013 campaign, Corbin was a recruiting and social media assistant at the University of North Texas. There, he helped build a signing class that produced three NFL free agent signees and multiple all-conference selections. Corbin was the head coach at Washington High School (Kan.) in 2011 and 2010. Before that, he was an assistant coach at various Kansas high schools, including Turner, Shawnee Mission North and Manhattan. Heavily involved in coaching with USA Football, he was most notably selected as a coach for the 2018 International Bowl IX at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Corbin graduated from Duquesne University in 1999 with a degree in secondary education. There, he helped the Dukes win two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference titles as a free safety. He later earned a master's degree in English from Kansas State University.
