Biography

2018: Played in eight games and made one start at right guard... missed games 1, 6 and 7 due to an injury... got his start against Stephen F. Austin... played 245 snaps on the year and allowed two sacks. 

2017: Appeared in six games on the year playing at the left tackle, left guard and right guard positions.

2016: Redshirt season.

High School: A 3-star recruit by 247sports… 2-star by Scout.com…  First team all-district, All-SWLA, and all-state honorable mention as a senior… Starter for the third straight year… All-district honors as a second year starter his junior season… Became a starter as a sophomore and earned all-district honorable mention honors… Won two district titles and helped team advance to the 2012 state championship… Won three district titles in track in the discus and shot put events.

Other: Born Jan. 29, 1998… Son of Ronnie and Courtney Fountain… Majoring in agriculture science… Had numerous offers including Houston, Southern Mississippi, Tulane, Colorado State, Arkansas State, East Carolina, SFA, and SLU to name a few.
