• Played slot receiver and cornerback where he was ranked a top 5 corner in his class while at La Vernia HS.
• Recorded 55 solo tackles, 14 pass break-ups, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery that went 70 yards for a touchdown.
• Helped lead his team to an undefeated district championship year as a junior.
• Transferred to Southside HS for his senior year where he played wide receiver.
• Set a single-season school record with 10.6 yards per carry.
