2013: made 11 starts on the season and recorded 31 trackles to go along with a sack and three-and-a-half tackles for a loss... intercepted one pass, broke up three passes and had two quarterback hurries along with a forced fumble... had a season-high six tackles in the season-opener at South Florida... had a sack and four tackles at Lamar... picked off his first career pass against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
2012: finished the season with 52 tackles to go along with five tackles for a loss... forced a fumble and registered two quarterback hurries... had a season-high nine stops against Central Arkansas (Oct. 13) along with a tackle for a loss... nine tackles with a TFL at Weber State (Sept. 19)... recorded a TFL at SLU and at Sam Houston State.2011: eight tackles vs SFA... also two tackles for a loss....six tackles vs Central Arkansas....season high 10 tackles and three tackles for a loss at Northwestern State State...also caused a fumble...four tackles vs. Southeastern Louisiana... one tackle had three tackles in start against Kansas...only freshman (redshirt) in a starting role for the Cowboys.
High School: all-state, all-district and all-city honors two years running at Evangel High...helped lead team to two state titles and four trips to the state championship game....three year starter...in senior season was credited with 76 tackles, 12 TFLs, five sacks, three pass interceptions and four fumble recoveries...team’s defensive captain....honor roll student and named to principal’s honor list for four years.
