2022 SLC COMMISSIONER’S HONOR ROLL

Switched from quarterback to defensive back during the 2022 spring season.

2021 (Freshman):
• Redshirt season

High School: 
• Three-time First Team All-District… All-Southwest Louisiana MVP… American Press Outstanding Athlete of the Year… As a senior at LCCP, threw for 1,799 yards, rushed for 329, and accounted for 31 TDs in leading the Blazers to a 9-1 season… Four-year starter who compiled a 39-5 record in his career and who became the starter at the end of his freshman year… Threw for 2,006 yards and 21 TDs as a sophomore… Junior year thew for 2,221 yards and 25 TDs and rushed for 743 yards and 12 scores… Accumulated over 8,000 passing yards, 2,000 rushing yards  and 101 total touchdowns in his HS career… Helped lead team to three district titles and the school’s first trip to the state semifinals… District and regional champion in the 4x100-meter relay… Helped lead his track squad to the 2021 3A state championship, the first state title in any sport for the high school.

• Born March 11, 2003… Son of Falando and Delores  Simon… Three siblings - Falando, Dakia and Deontre… Nickname is “Dill”… Loves to fish and hike and claims to wrestle alligators.
