2012 All-SLC Honorable Mention
2012: ranked third on the team with 61 tackles, 43 of those solos... named SLC Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 15 after he recorded four tackles, a half tackle for a loss, picked off a pass and broke up two other passes in a win at Weber State... tied for the team lead with three interceptions... had three tackles for a loss, six pass break ups, forced two fumbles while recovering two... had two games with 10 or more tackles, including a career-high 12 stops against Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 27)... 10 tackles the week before at Sam Houston State (Oct. 20)... forced and recovered a fumble at Sam Houston State... picked off passes at Middle Tennesse (Aug. 30), at Weber State (Sept. 15) and against Central Arkansas (Oct. 13).
2011: played in all 11 games and made one start, that coming against Sioux Falls... totaled 29 tackles and had one pass interception... five pass breakups ranked as the fourth best on the team... career-best six stops against Nicholls to go along with a pass interception that was returned 24 yards... five tackles at Central Arkansas and Stephen F. Austin.
2010: missed the season.
2009: played as a true freshman and played in all 12 games for the conference champions and came away with 23 tackles...broke up two passes....had a career high five tackles in victory over Southeastern Louisiana...also had three tackles against Nicholls and Northwestern State.
High School: earned all-state, all-district and all-metro honors...played on district and staste runnerup teams...four letters in football, three in basketball (point guard) and track (relays) and one in baseball (pitcher/outfield).
Other: birthdate 8/3/91 ....mass communication...parents are Mitchell and Wanda Morgan...cousin Amhad Harris played football at Louisiana Tech... carries a 3.71 GPA in mass communications... named to the 2012 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll.
