One of the best moves the coaching staff made was shifting him from offense to defense....after one season there, he’ll be the starter at cornerback this season...was a standout in the spring and had two tackles and a pass interception in spring game...very quick and with his speed  he won’t be beaten by many players

2007: saw action in all games and was credited with nine tackles in first year on the defensive side...had three tackles in games against Texas State and SFA...had pass interception against ULL

2006: didn’t see much action as a wide receiver and didn’t catch a pass

2005: had 10 receptions for 133 yards and a td...scored td on a 21 yard catch in victory over Sam Houston State...three catches for 59 yards against Texas Southern and three for 33 yards vs SFA

High School: all-district as wide receiver and return specialist..43 catches for 650 yards and 10 tds as a senior..district leader in both kickoff and punt returns..basketball and track letters...all-district in basketball...
