Made a move from defense to offense during the spring and it paid off...expected to be a big help in the offensive line...has all the right tools....big, strong and quick...injuries have bothered him throughout his career

2007: saw action in nine games last year and was credited with seven tackles....had one quarterback sack and a tackle behind the line...also broke up a pass

2006: credited with six tackles...had three in season opening game with South Florida and two against West Virginia Tech

High School: all-state, all-district, all-metro..two time district MVP...had 101 tackles (17 for a loss), two fumble recoveries, 15 sacks, one interception as a senior...career total of 205 tackles, 27 TFLs, 22 sacks...played  in Louisiana all-star game and in the Texas-Louisiana all-star game...four letters  in basketball as center...baseball letter (pitcher and shortstop)
