2021 SLC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll
2021 (Redshirt Sophomore):
• Started the first seven games of the season until injury struck and sideline him for the final four games... Recorded two sacks, 2.5 tackles for a loss and 13 total tackles in those seven games... Career-high six tackles with a sack at LSU in week 2 of the season... Had a sack against his former team, NSU, in week 6.
2021 Spring (Redshirt Sophomore):
• Sat out the season due to transfer rules.
At Northwestern State
2019 (Redshirt Freshman):
• Appeared in six games along the defensive line... Recorded a 2-yard tackle for loss against Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 28... Collected a pair of solo tackles at Houston Baptist on Sept. 21.
2018 (Freshman):
• Played in four games as a freshman, redshirted... Made a solo tackle against Abilene Christian.
High School:
• Four-year letterwinner for coach Bret Fuselier... Two-time first-team all-state, all-district and All-Southwest Louisiana selection... Lettered in basketball, earning the team’s leadership award and honorable mention all-district honors... Nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award and was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America... Graduated with a 3.3 grade point average.
Personal:
• Son of Veronica Karam and the late Joe McNeely, a Louisiana Tech Hall of Fame linebacker... Has one sister, Christina Arceneaux, and one brother, DC Arceneaux... Wants to play in the NFL or become a business owner... Life’s ambition is to “make it to the kingdom of Heaven with my family” and to become a Hall of Fame defensive tackle... Brother DC plays baseball at LSU-A... Nickname is “Big Hummus.”
